On the occasion of Guru Purab, devotees thronged the Gurudwaras in large numbers and therefore, on Friday, people from the Muslim community couldn't offer Namaz in the Gurudwaras. Owing to the tussle that has been ongoing between the Hindutva groups and the Muslims who offer Namaz at an open site in Gurugram, Sikhs decided to open the gates of Gurudwaras for Muslims on Fridays. We talked to the Gurudwara committee members to know their perspective on this entire incident and what they make of the praises they have been getting after their decision to upload harmony and brotherhood.
